The importance of helping:
Understanding the importance of supporting those who have experienced disasters in their lives is not a difficult concept to grasp, however through a deeper understanding of the mental health impacts that humanitarian disaster, such as war, can have on a person, should expand the inclination to do so, and hopefully encourage people to help make a difference in their lives.

OeSA
OeSA is an asylum centre which tends asylum seekers and their various necessities in order to assist them in leading a better life in Switzerland. OeSA offers pastoral care services in federal asylum centres and temporary federal accommodations in Northwestern Switzerland, and is supported by regional churches and individual church communities. Volunteers are welcome and can provide assistance in jobs such as clothing distribution, or teaching German.

Thanksgiver
ThanksGiver Schweiz is a food bank providing essential food assistance for individuals in need. Thanksgiver offers food, language classes, and promotes environmental sustainability. Through sign ups, volunteers are able to assist in food banks across Switzerland, where food is distributed to those who have difficulty purchasing enough to avoid hunger.
